Confused motivation cartoon

In my last post I mentioned that I’d entered an informal CCGB competition (cartoonists are set a caption, and have to come up with an idea / image).  My first attempt, the umbrella cartoon got a few votes, which suprised me as my cartoons tend to be a bit, er, offbeat. But better than that, the very talented Clive Goddard called it “wonderfully surreal”, which makes me happy.

Anyway, the next week I tried again, the set caption being “You just don’t know when to give up, do you?”. I produced the cartoon above, and got voted into second place, which is nice.

The winner was DC1’s cartoon about decorating the Sistine chapel (I can’t link to it – he has no website).

But my favourite of the competition was Tim Harries take on laser eye surgery.

28th August 2009.

  1. That is known that money makes us autonomous. But how to act when somebody has no cash? The one way is to get the loans or sba loan.
